Last summer, Musk announced the construction of a new Gigafactory, stating it would become one of the world’s largest. The complex was planned to be equipped with advanced automated assembly lines for more efficient production of reusable Starship rocket systems.
Each of these rockets will be able to deliver up to 150 tons of payload to low Earth orbit. This surpasses the capabilities of the Falcon 9 carrier. Musk’s company intends to realize long-term projects for Mars colonization and support for NASA lunar missions with their aid.
