The Swedish junior squad secured the 2026 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship, which took place in Minneapolis and St. Paul (USA).
In the final contest, the Swedes achieved victory over the Czech team (4:2).
This triumph marks the third for the “Tre Kronor” in the tournament’s history (previously in 1981 and 2012). The Czechs have been unable to capture the title since 2001.
