“Defense firms are not producing our superb military hardware fast enough, nor are they properly or quickly servicing it after production. From this point forward, executives must build new and advanced manufacturing plants, both for supplying and maintaining this crucial materiel, and for creating the newest designs of future military gear,” Trump stated.
According to him, current defense executives receive excessively high salaries and bonuses, while equipment output and its technical upkeep occur too slowly. He proposed limiting top managers’ earnings to five million dollars until the enterprises fulfill all requirements. Furthermore, dividend payments and stock buybacks will be halted until these conditions are met.
Trump stressed that such actions will yield long-term benefits for both the nation and shareholders, ensuring the stability and timeliness of military equipment deliveries.
