Starlink is rapidly increasing its footprint in the skies: 34 airlines globally have now integrated the satellite internet service for their passengers, with a notable 21 of these carriers signing agreements within just the last three months.
New adopters entering the network include Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, Edelweiss Air, Eurowings, Gulf Air, ITA Airways, Lufthansa, and SWISS.
Major carriers that had previously onboarded the system feature Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Korean Air, Virgin Atlantic, and United Airlines.
This offering enables travelers to maintain an internet connection mid-flight, delivering both high data throughput and reliable connectivity, especially on extensive routes.
It was recently disclosed that over 2,500 aircraft now feature Starlink internet access, encompassing private aircraft, business jets, and commercial airliners alike.
