American singer Billie Eilish secured the Grammy Award for Song of the Year with her composition “Wildflower.” The broadcast of the 68th annual music awards ceremony, held in Los Angeles, was aired by the CBS television network.
Competing for the win in this category were pop singer Sabrina Carpenter with her track “Manchild,” Kendrick Lamar featuring SZA with the song “luther,” Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny with “DtMF,” Bruno Mars and ROS for “APT,” rap artist Doechii for “Anxiety,” Lady Gaga with “Abracadabra,” and the song “Golden” from the animated series “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”
This marks Eilish’s third victory in this specific category throughout her career. She previously earned the Grammy for “Bad Guy” in 2020, followed by “What Was I Made For” in 2024.
Additionally, at the Grammy ceremony, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s track “Luther” was named Record of the Year. The Album of the Year award went to Bad Bunny for his album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”
Olivia Dean was announced as the recipient of the Best New Artist Grammy. Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” was honored as the Best Dance Pop Recording. The Producer of the Year award went to Cirkut, who helmed Lady Gaga’s album “Mayhem.” The Best Music Video accolade was given to Doechii for “Anxiety.” The title for Best Dance/Electronic Album went to “Eusexua” by British singer FKA Twigs. Amy Allen claimed the Songwriter of the Year prize. In the Best R&B Song category, Kehlani won for “Folded.” Kendrick Lamar’s “TV Off,” featuring Lefty Gunplay, took home Best Rap Song. The Best Music Film award was presented to Steven Spielberg’s “John Williams: Music in the Movies.”
