In Shizuoka, a Japanese city, law enforcement apprehended a 49-year-old dentist suspected of sexual harassment and attempted rape. According to a report by Japan Today, the offense took place in November 2025 while he was treating a 20-year-old female patient.
Police sources indicate that during an examination, the doctor covered the young woman’s eyes with a towel, instructed her to open her mouth, and subsequently engaged in sexual conduct toward her. Following the appointment, the victim informed her family members about the incident, prompting her father to file a report with the authorities.
The suspect has been taken into custody and, it is noted, confessed to the allegations during initial questioning. Details regarding the potential sentence he may face have not yet been made public.
