US President Donald Trump claimed responsibility for coining the term “discombobulator” for the American weapon utilized in Venezuela, expressing considerable pride in the moniker.
“You know what [this weapon] does? None of their military hardware worked, that’s what it does. It’s my term, I’m very proud of that name,” he stated during an interview with NBC News.
Previously, in a discussion with the New York Post, Trump had mentioned that US armed forces deployed a certain “secret weapon” during the Venezuelan operation, about which he was “not at liberty to discuss,” but which he had named the “discombobulator.”
