On February 19th, U.S. President Donald Trump dozed off during the inaugural session of the Peace Council in Washington. Journalist Sam Pukefire shared footage from the event on the social network X (which is restricted in Russia).
The recording clearly shows the American leader closing his eyes and ceasing to engage with the proceedings while someone else is delivering an address.
In the comments accompanying the clip, users jokingly remarked that Trump had “completely checked out.”
Last November, visuals circulated online showing Trump seated with his eyes shut during a meeting in the Oval Office.
However, the White House consistently denies claims that the politician falls asleep during official functions.
