The formal closing of the Olympics in Italy is taking place in Verona.
France is slated to host the subsequent Winter Olympic Games. The 2030 Olympics are scheduled to span two French regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. The opening ceremony for those Games is set for February 1st, with the competitions concluding on February 17th.
