The Minnesota Wild hockey team emerged victorious over the Dallas Stars in their recent home game of the NHL regular season.
The contest, held in Saint Paul, concluded with a final score of 2-1. For Minnesota, goals were scored by Bobby Brink and Russian forward Vladimir Tarasenko, who netted the game-winning goal in overtime. Dallas’s sole goal came from Jason Robertson.
Tarasenko has now accumulated 40 points (20 goals and 20 assists) across 64 games this season. He was subsequently named the first star of the game. Robertson earned the second star designation, with the Wild’s goaltender, Filip Gustavsson, rounding out the top three as the third star.
Minnesota’s top scorer, Kirill Kaprizov of Russia, missed his second consecutive game due to a lower-body injury. According to the Wild’s press service, Kaprizov is anticipated to return in the coming days.
Minnesota currently holds 92 points, placing them third in the Western Conference standings, while Dallas (with 97 points) occupies the second spot.
