LG won’t leave us without televisions this year. Thus, the company has already released both conventional OLED models and novel developments.
The principal novelties are the G6, C6, and B6 series. They have become brighter, thanks to an enhanced backlight technology and a new processor featuring AI. This same processor assists in elevating the quality of lower-resolution video and calibrates the audio. Furthermore, the screens now sport a specialized anti-glare coating.
All televisions utilize the webOS 26 operating system. This version integrates voice assistants from both Microsoft and Google. Consequently, the television is now capable of independently selecting films tailored to your preference, responding to inquiries, and adjusting the picture based on the ambient room lighting.
The W6 model warrants distinct attention—it’s a “wireless” television boasting a mere 9mm thickness. Visuals are transmitted to it wirelessly via a specialized standalone unit, and it supports a high refresh rate of 165 Hz.
These new television sets became available for purchase in South Korea on March 25th. Their arrival in other international markets is imminent. Pricing commences at 1,897,200 Korean Won (approximately $1250 USD).
