A fresh update for the Telegram messenger has rolled out, featuring an integrated text AI editor within the application. According to the developers’ blog, this update is now accessible on both iOS and Android platforms.
This built-in AI editor grants users the capability to automatically fix errors, adjust the writing style of their text using various presets (such as Formal, Short, Tribal, Corp, Zen, Biblical, and Viking), and translate it into different languages. This feature becomes active by tapping the “AI” button whenever the text input reaches a minimum of three lines.
Significant modifications were also introduced to the mechanics of polls. Now, users have the option to augment polls with both text descriptions and media attachments. Furthermore, members of group chats can now propose their own response options and engage individually with specific choices presented within the poll structure.
Other notable features announced include support for posting Live Photos, the capacity to scan documents directly through the camera and subsequently consolidate these images into PDF files, the ability to initiate personalized instances of third-party bots, and the implementation of a notification system to alert users if a conversation partner is employing a non-official client, among several other additions.
