Consequently, Crosby has now moved into sole possession of seventh place on the NHL’s all-time scoring list, surpassing Steve Yzerman, who sits at 1755 points.
Crosby now trails Marcel Dionne, who occupies sixth place on the all-time points chart with 1771 total points, by a margin of 15 points. The league’s record holder remains Wayne Gretzky, with an astounding 2857 points.
