Per Microsoft’s official documentation, Windows 11 version 25H2 currently has no reported glitches, and all recognized issues impacting the operating system have been resolved. This is a breath of fresh air, considering the last few challenging months with updates containing bugs, some of which hindered users from fully utilizing their PCs.
Certainly, it is an uncommon instance when all tracked issues are marked as fixed, given that Windows 11 25H2 initially arrived with flaws and difficulties that Microsoft diligently addressed. It is also claimed that this “bug-free” state for Windows 11 extends to the Windows 26H1 build designed for devices powered by Snapdragon X2 chips.
However, this assertion from Microsoft does not imply that Windows 11 is flawless or that all difficulties are behind us. There remains a possibility, and a quite high one, that undocumented errors still exist within the operating system. There are also considerable prospects that forthcoming updates will introduce new snags and malfunctions. Nevertheless, for now, every known problem, according to the software giant, has been fixed, including issues with accessing the boot drive, application crashes, and simple failures during the installation of a routine update.
Microsoft assures that significant transformations await Windows 11 in the future. Specifically, the corporation promised to grant users complete command over Windows 11 updates, including the full option to decline irrelevant updates. Senior editor for Windows Central, Zac Bowden, characterized this strategy as “a degree of liberty unseen since the Windows 8 era.” In theory, once this modification is implemented, it should be feasible to pause updates and run the operating system in the mode that seems most steady to the user or administrator.
