The Russian midfielder for Atlanta United, Aleksei Miranchuk, has been appointed team captain for the upcoming U.S. Open Cup Round of 32 fixture against Chattanooga.
Miranchuk has been with Atlanta since 2024. The player’s current contract with the club extends until 2027.
During this season, the footballer has featured in six MLS games, accumulating four goals in the process. Miranchuk sat out the previous match due to a muscle injury.
