Authorities determined that this precarious situation posed a risk of collapse and a potential danger to the public. Consequently, the city administration issued an order for the immediate removal of the monument.
Messi achieved World Cup glory in 2022 as part of the Argentine national team. His illustrious career also boasts eight Ballon d’Or awards and two Copa América titles.
