SpaceX has successfully executed another launch of its Falcon 9 rocket from the launch site at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The Starlink 10-35 mission saw the successful deployment of 29 satellites belonging to the Starlink satellite internet constellation into Earth’s orbit.
The launch proceeded without any hitches. Following the separation of the payload, the rocket’s first stage returned to Earth and achieved a successful landing on the autonomous drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
A significant highlight of this mission was the establishment of a new reusability record. The B1067 first stage, utilized for this flight, marked its 35th mission during its operational life. With this achievement, SpaceX has once again surpassed its own benchmark for the number of times a single launch vehicle has been reused.
The ongoing advancement of reusable launch technologies continues to be a primary driver in reducing the overall cost associated with space missions.
