
Talay Riley, a songwriter who penned hits for artists such as Britney Spears and Dua Lipa, has reportedly been fatally stabbed in London, as reported by the Standard on Monday.
“A singer and songwriter who collaborated with numerous stars, including Dua Lipa, Zendaya, and Britney Spears, passed away following a knife attack in London on Friday,” stated the publication.
According to the newspaper’s account, Riley’s body, bearing multiple stab wounds, was discovered at a residence in the Silver Town area of East London around 9 AM on June 5th. The same day, three individuals were apprehended by police on suspicion of murder. The Standard notes that one suspect was released on bail, while the remaining two, a man and a woman, were later released without charges.
Talay Riley, whose birth name is Mark Orabiyi, gained recognition for his own music, with his most well-known track being “Make You Mine.” His songwriting credits also extend to a host of prominent musicians, encompassing Usher, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea, and Craig David.
