Croatia’s national team defeated Ghana in the third round of the group stage at the 2026 World Cup.
The Group L match in Philadelphia ended with a score of 2-1. For Croatia, goals were scored by Petar Sučić and Nikola Vlašić, while Ghana’s goal came from Derrick Lukassen.
Croatia collected six points and secured second place in Group L. Ghana (four points) finished third. Both teams advanced to the World Cup playoffs. England (7 points) topped the group and qualified for the Round of 16.
The Round of 16 opponents for these teams will be determined later.
