Airbus SE remains on track to meet its annual delivery target of 870 aircraft after a 15% increase during the first half of 2026. Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury shared this with CNBC on Monday.
The European plane manufacturer delivered 15% more aircraft in the initial six months of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. Faury disclosed this information to CNBC on the sidelines of the Farnborough Airshow.
“In the first half of 2026, we delivered 15% more planes than during the same timeframe in 2025. This is perfectly aligned with the production ramp-up trajectory we intended to execute this year,” Faury stated.
This growth in deliveries was made possible by the stabilization of engine supplies, which supported the company’s plans to accelerate production rates this year.
