Polish tennis star Iga Świątek secured her first WTA 1000 title of 2026 with a dominant victory in Toronto. In the final, she defeated Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina with a score of 6-2, 6-3. The match lasted just over an hour and 15 minutes. Świątek showcased solid performance: she didn’t serve a single ace, committed only one double fault, and converted four out of five break points. Rybakina, in contrast, managed one ace but struggled with double faults (four) and failed to convert any break points. This win marks Świątek’s 12th WTA 1000 title in her career.
