A man was relaxing on the beach in front of the Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa when he was attacked by a crocodile. The animal dragged the tourist into the sea. His remains were found the following day, 300 meters from the shore.
The hotel management stated that crocodile warning signs and red flags were posted on the premises. Local authorities conducted night patrols.
“All of this was and remains properly organized,” the press service stated.
