Today, September 5, the fifth round of the Saudi Arabian Football League match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr took place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. The home team won 2-1.
George Ilenikena scored a brace in the 22nd minute. Gabriel Angelo pulled one back for Al-Nassr in the 36th minute, but the visitors couldn’t muster any more. Star Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo also failed to score.
After five rounds, Al-Nassr sits second in the table with 12 points. Al-Ittihad sits fourth with 11 points. Al-Hilal remains the leader (15).
