Porsche SE announced an investment in the U.S. space company Stoke Space Technologies. The deal took place as part of a larger Series E financing round where Stoke Space raised approximately $1 billion. Stoke Space is developing a two-stage launch vehicle designed to be fully reusable. The company’s goal is to achieve a higher launch cadence and significantly reduce costs compared to traditional rockets. The first orbital flight of the Nova Pathfinder is scheduled for early 2027. Porsche SE noted that Stoke Space has assembled a team of leading experts in rocket development (many from SpaceX and Blue Origin) and owns its own launch site at Cape Canaveral.
