Apple has increased the prices for the iPhone 16, 17, Air, and 17e. Consequently, all of the company’s current smartphones have become more expensive.
In every instance, the price rose by $100. The iPhone 16 now costs $800 (approximately 68,000 rubles), the 17e is $700 (around 60,000 rubles), the 17 is $900 (76,000 rubles), and the Air is $1,100 (94,000 rubles). Tim Cook had announced the upcoming price hike back in June, citing the crisis in the memory market as the reason.
Notably, the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max have also seen a $100 price increase compared to last year’s models. The base version of the 18 Pro costs $1,200 (102,000 rubles), while the Pro Max is priced at $1,300 (110,000 rubles).
The smartphones feature an improved camera with a variable aperture and the new Apple A20 Pro chip. Thanks to the shift to a 2-nanometer manufacturing process, the devices are faster and more energy-efficient.
