A federal jury in San Diego has handed down a historic verdict, ordering Apple to pay more than $5.7 billion in damages to Taction Technology. The massive legal battle, which began back in 2021, accused the tech giant of embedding patented tactile transducer and haptic feedback technology into its flagship devices without authorization or licensing.
