Francis Ngannou confirmed that he is very much looking forward to the fight between Jon Jones and Alex Pereira, but opined that the UFC could have organized a more exciting main event for its anniversary show at the White House. Regarding his future in the PFL, Ngannou stated that he expects offers from the league in November, but there is no clarity yet. Ngannou had his last fight against Renan Ferreira in October 2024 at the PFL.Metaratings tournament. The UFC tournament at the White House, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of US independence, is tentatively scheduled for June 14, 2026.
