The American company F&F Fine Wines International, which sells under the Ethica Wines brand, has recalled approximately 941,400 bottles of Prosecco. The Kirkland Signature Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG bottles were sold in Costco stores in twelve US states from April to August 2025. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warns that even unopened bottles may “explode.” Costco has asked customers not to return the bottles to stores “for safety reasons.”
