Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone Air 2 in the spring of 2027, according to a new report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman noted that, due to the workload on the company’s marketing and engineering teams during the fall release cycle, Apple decided to revise the schedule. Essentially, the new iPhone models, in terms of announcement sequence, will be divided into two main groups. Gurman also believes that the iPhone Air 2 was never intended to be a regular smartphone — and the decision not to release a second version next fall, which was reported by many media outlets, is not related to the not-so-high sales of the ultra-thin phone.
