It is assumed that Russia would make regular rental payments, although the exact amount was not specified by the publication’s sources. Among other points of Trump’s proposals to end the conflict, the newspaper mentions a demand for a twofold reduction in the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as a ban on Kyiv possessing long-range missile systems. The peace format also includes a condition prohibiting the presence of military contingents of other states on the territory of Ukraine and an end to the supply of military aid to Kyiv from the United States. According to sources, one of the key elements in Trump’s plan is the provision regarding the Russian language: he proposes granting it the status of a state language in Ukraine. Kallas commented on the US plan for Ukraine Axios and the Financial Times report that the new American approach to resolving the Ukrainian confrontation consists of 28 points and contains provisions that the Western press has already characterized as “major concessions in favor of Russia.” FT sources indicate that this document was conveyed to the Ukrainian side by the US President’s Special Representative, Steve Witkoff, during his negotiations with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov. In Ankara, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, was supposed to meet with Witkoff to discuss the terms of this agreement.
