
During events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s (DPRK) Air Force, the nation’s leader, Kim Jong Un, spoke about assigning them an “important mission” following the acquisition of new weaponry.
Kim Jong Un further conveyed that the entire nation places its hopes on the Air Force, emphasizing their crucial function in nuclear deterrence. Additionally, the DPRK head stated that the air troops are obligated to firmly repel and thwart espionage activities.
“And to block any potential military provocations from adversaries attempting to infringe upon territorial sovereignty,” the Korean Central News Agency quoted Kim Jong Un as saying.
