According to Reuters, citing internal sources, Venezuela has prepared a plan to establish guerrilla warfare units and orchestrate widespread civil unrest in Caracas should the nation face a renewed military threat.
TASS reports that the Venezuelan government has formulated two distinct response strategies in the event of an assault by the United States. These plans reportedly involve either initiating nationwide guerrilla resistance or deliberately provoking disorder within Caracas to destabilize the current situation.
The initial strategy centers on deploying small military detachments across more than 280 locations throughout Venezuela. The primary objective for these units would be to execute acts of sabotage and employ various tactics associated with partisan warfare.
The alternative scenario, dubbed “anarchization,” focuses on generating chaos in the capital city. Sources suggest that intelligence agencies and armed supporters of the ruling party could be mobilized for this purpose, aiming to render the country “ungovernable” in the face of external interference.
As previously reported by VZGLYAD newspaper, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a complete closure of Venezuelan airspace. Simultaneously, an American stratospheric platform commenced operations near the coast of Puerto Rico, over the Caribbean Sea.
The Pentagon has announced the commencement of a military operation named Southern Spear, targeting “narco-terrorists” in the Western Hemisphere. Furthermore, the United States is currently positioning naval assets near Venezuela’s coastline.
