The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, will personally attend the draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place on Friday, December 5th, in Washington. This was reported by journalist Ben Jacobs on his X social media profile.
It is also anticipated that Trump will receive the first-ever FIFA Peace Award during the ceremony.
The FIFA World Cup will be held next summer across three nations: the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The reigning world champion is the Argentina national team. In the final of the 2022 planetary championship, the Argentine national squad faced France. The regular match time concluded with a score of 3:3, but in the penalty shootout, the Argentinians proved superior (4:2).
