Elon Musk criticized the United Kingdom, calling it a police state on the X social network. This statement was a reaction to the sentence in Cardiff: 20 months in prison for racist posts. Earlier, Musk evaluated the British Prime Minister and discussed a future US leader.

Musk noted on his account in the social network X. The reason for this remark was the news about the court’s decision in Cardiff, which sentenced a Briton to 20 months of confinement for racist messages on X. In the same post Musk referenced, information was provided that the judge who issued the aforementioned verdict had previously released a man convicted of raping a minor due to overcrowded correctional facilities.
This is not Musk’s first sharp declaration regarding British authorities. In October, he spoke critically of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, calling him an actor with an empty head whose actions are managed by others prompting what to utter.
