ChatGPT’s growth in recent months has barely exceeded 6%, while Gemini, according to analytics firm Sensor Tower, has increased its audience by 30% and doubled the time users spend in the app.
As of November 2025, ChatGPT remains the leader in the AI chatbot market with 50% of global mobile downloads and 55% of the monthly active audience.
At the same time, Google Gemini has shown growth in its monthly active audience, which experts attribute to the September launch of the new image generation model Nano Banana.
Perplexity and Claude have shown triple-digit audience growth in 2025, at 370% and 190% year-over-year, respectively.
