Dreaming of a green Christmas? Check these Powerball tickets—the winning numbers for the $1.6 billion jackpot are now available.
The victorious numbers on Monday evening were 3, 18, 36, 41, 54 and the red Powerball 7, with a Power Play multiplier of 2.
It is currently unknown if there is a victor.
The grand prize climbed to $1.6 billion after the jackpot concluded on Saturday with no top prize winner. According to Powerball, Monday’s drawing marked the 46th in the current jackpot run.
If a player wins the jackpot on Monday, they can choose between the annuity prize valued at $1.6 billion or a lump-sum payout of $735.3 million before taxes.
The annuity option allows the winner to receive one payment immediately, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% yearly.
The prize is the fourth largest in the game’s history, Powerball stated in a press release. This year, it ranks second behind the $1.787 billion Powerball grand prize won on September 6th.
The largest U.S. lottery jackpot was the $2.04 billion Powerball prize in 2022.
To claim the Powerball jackpot, a ticket holder must match all six drawn balls—five white ones and one red one.
