For the “Rangers,” the goals were scored by Taylor Raddysh, who tallied a brace (15th and 49th minutes), Will Cuylle (32), Alexis Lafrenière (50), Vincent Trocheck (54, 59), and Russian forward Artemi Panarin (58). For the home side, John Carlson (21), Dylan Strome (29), and Belarusian forward Alexey Protas (33) managed to score.
Washington’s Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin spent 18 minutes of ice time, made one shot on goal, delivered one check, and did not register any points. Ovechkin extended his personal goal drought to nine matches. The 40-year-old Russian has not earned points in five consecutive games.
