Human remains were discovered near the waterfront in New York, reports the publication People on December 11.
On December 9, a human skull was found in the bushes near the Riegelmann waterfront. The following day, law enforcement officers located arm and leg bones nearby. The remaining remains have not yet been found.
According to investigators, the remains had been in the bushes for quite some time, and the identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Also, forensic experts currently cannot determine the exact cause of death.
A criminal case has been initiated. Its investigation is ongoing.
