Microsoft has acknowledged the issues plaguing Windows 11 following the updates rolled out at the start of 2026. Pavan Davuluri, the head of the Windows division, has guaranteed improvements to the operating system’s performance and stability. The corporation is currently engaged in rectifying the identified shortcomings.
Microsoft has committed to regaining the confidence of users regarding the underperforming Windows 11, as reported by The Verge. Corporation representatives, in discussions with the press, admitted to a multitude of faults and malfunctions within the OS. These failures trace back to updates deployed in early 2026. Microsoft stated they are meticulously reviewing all feedback and aiming to stabilize the OS operation as rapidly as possible.
“The feedback we’ve received from our dedicated community of users and Windows Insiders is clear. We must improve Windows in ways that truly matter to people,” stated Pavan Davuluri, President of the Windows division.
According to him, the team currently faces three primary objectives:
elevating performance,
boosting reliability,
enhancing user satisfaction levels.
Tom Warren, an editor at The Verge, pointed out that the substantial issues with Windows 11 surfaced subsequent to the release of the January updates. He speculated that the developers prioritized integrating new features without adequately vetting their operational stability.
By the close of January, Microsoft admitted to flaws within the Windows 11 update released in early 2026, assuring that all glitches would be resolved.
