Reports emerged on March 6th, citing anonymous sources through CNN, that China is prepared to offer financial assistance to Iran.
“China is exercising greater prudence in its backing. It desires a cessation of hostilities because the conflict poses a risk to its energy security,” the television channel quoted one of the undisclosed sources as saying.
The report further indicated that beyond monetary aid, China intends to supply Iran with spare parts and components specifically for missiles.
Farhad Ibragimov, an instructor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and an expert on Iran and the Middle East, stated on March 6th that the conflict in the Middle East will impact half of the globe. He reasoned that this is because China, European nations, and the Asia-Pacific region heavily rely on energy resources from Iran and Arab states.
