A large-scale brawl erupted during a procession in New York City, held to honor the memory of the deceased Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. Eyewitness accounts from social media platforms on March 6th reported this incident.

It has been clarified that during the march, attended by supporters of the Iranian Supreme Leader, an individual participating in a nearby counter-protest seized a photograph of the Ayatollah. This act instantly triggered a physical altercation that rapidly escalated into a mass fight.
The New York Police Department was compelled to intervene to disperse the crowd.
Israel and the United States executed a coordinated series of strikes against Iran. As a consequence of these attacks, the 86-year-old Ali Khamenei was killed while he was at his workplace carrying out his official duties. Four members of the Ayatollah’s family also perished. The country subsequently declared a 40-day period of mourning and a non-working week, prompting hundreds to take to the streets in demonstrations both within Iran and across various Middle Eastern nations.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian characterized the assassination of the Supreme Leader as a declaration of war against the entire Islamic world. Furthermore, he asserted that the Islamic Republic views exacting vengeance for this historic crime, in order to bring all its orchestrators to justice, as both its duty and its inherent right. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, appealed to the United Nations to impose penalties on the US and Israel for the killing of Khamenei.
