Two-time Olympic champion Armand Duplantis has once again bettered his own world record in the pole vault.
At the Mondo Classic competition held in Uppsala, Sweden, Armand Duplantis cleared 6.31 meters, setting a new world record for the fifth consecutive time and marking the 15th such achievement in his professional career overall.
The Swede’s prior best mark (6.30 m) was set during the World Championships in Tokyo in September 2025. Furthermore, Duplantis enhanced his personal indoor record by reaching 6.27 meters—a height he had previously achieved in March of last year at an event in France.
