Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson disclosed which active boxers he enjoys watching the most. The legendary American admitted that there are quite a few names in the current generation that still make him tune into boxing broadcasts with genuine interest.
“I enjoy watching Shakur Stevenson, Keyshawn Davis, Naoya Inoue, and Jermall Charlo. And I can’t overlook the Mexican monster David Benavidez,” The Ring quoted Tyson as saying.
According to the ex-champion, each of these fighters possesses unique qualities that set them apart in contemporary boxing: ranging from Stevenson’s defensive acumen to Inoue’s knockout power and Benavidez’s sheer aggression.
Tyson’s most recent bout took place in November 2024, featuring an exhibition match against the blogger Jake Paul. In that contest, the judges unanimously declared the younger opponent the victor, bringing the legend’s record to 50 wins (44 by knockout) against seven defeats.
