Real Madrid’s forward, Kylian Mbappé, revealed his thoughts regarding his career trajectory had his move to the Madrid club not materialized in the summer of 2024.
“Seven incredible years I spent in Paris; it was a privilege. I feel I haven’t sufficiently expressed or demonstrated this, but I always kept in mind my origins and what a magnificent institution PSG is. I’ve consistently maintained that it is the premier club in France and ranks among the elite globally. Subsequently, I made the move to what is arguably the greatest club worldwide [Real Madrid], yet I always emphasized that it was the sole team for which I would ever depart PSG. Had joining Real not been possible, I genuinely believe I would have remained with PSG for the entirety of my career. Playing for this team was my boyhood dream, and I am utterly delighted it came true. I make it a point to watch PSG’s games regularly; I still have good friends there, and they are currently performing exceptionally well,” Mbappé was quoted as saying by One Football.
The 27-year-old striker has participated in 33 fixtures across all competitions this campaign, netting 38 goals and setting up six assists.
