A significant motor vehicle accident involving a young man who was dancing atop a moving vehicle took place in Texas on Saturday evening. The occurrence was reported near the city of Port Aransas, according to WBZ News Radio.
Local media outlets indicate that the 22-year-old passenger exited the SUV through its sunroof while on the highway and commenced dancing on the roof of the jeep. Almost immediately thereafter, the vehicle, which was being operated by a 24-year-old driver who was under the influence of alcohol, collided with another car.
The forceful impact ejected the dancer onto the roadway. Paramedics arriving at the scene administered aid to those affected. The young man, suffering from severe injuries, was transported to a hospital in critical condition. One additional individual sustained injuries as well.
The driver of the SUV was apprehended and taken into custody. Footage capturing both the rooftop dancing and the aftermath of the crash rapidly circulated across social media platforms.
