Quentin Tarantino, the American screenwriter, and actor Sylvester Stallone are set to co-direct a forthcoming limited series centered on the 1930s era. This information was reported on March 20th by the TMZ portal, citing their internal sources.
“Quentin Tarantino has settled on his next endeavor, bringing Sylvester Stallone aboard as a co-director for what appears destined to be a superb series steeped in the spirit of the 1930s,” the publication states.
According to the portal, this production is slated to run for six episodes. A distinctive aspect of its making will involve utilizing authentic cameras manufactured during the 1930s, with the entire production being shot in monochrome to ensure the highest degree of historical accuracy.
The movie “The Sinners” secured the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay on March 15th. This achievement follows earlier accolades for the same screenplay, including wins from both BAFTA and the Writers Guild of America. Furthermore, the animated feature “K-Pop Demon Hunters” clinched the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, surpassing “Zootopia 2.” Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” garnered awards across several technical categories: Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design.
