
Another participant has been determined for the second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The Colorado Avalanche swept the Los Angeles Kings in four games, a team featuring Russian forward Artemi Panarin.

In the fourth game of the series, the regular season champions, the Avalanche, secured a decisive victory with a score of 5-1. Panarin and Colorado forward Valeri Nichushkin did not register any offensive points.
Artemi Panarin was traded to Los Angeles from the New York Rangers during the season. In 26 regular season contests with his new club, the forward accumulated 27 points (9 goals and 18 assists). Across the four-game series against Colorado, Panarin tallied two goals and one assist.
