In the US state of Indiana, 41-year-old Elizabeth Crickmore is facing eight felony charges. According to the Daily Star, these charges encompass four counts of child exploitation related to the creation of adult content, and four counts of possessing prohibited materials involving minors.
An arrest warrant has already been issued for the woman, and should she be convicted on all counts, she could face a maximum sentence of 72 years in prison.
The investigation was initiated following a tip received by the state’s Department of Child Services. The report alleged that Crickmore had purportedly involved a minor in filming for adult purposes. Investigators subsequently uncovered correspondence where one of their followers requested explicit videos featuring the child. Four files, forming the basis of the accusations, were discovered on the accounts. At the time these recordings were made, the girl was between five and six years old.
Authorities are currently searching for the woman. In a related development, her husband informed the police that he has no connection to the account containing the video files.
