American rapper Flo Rida (Tramar Dillard) has arrived in Moscow, as reported to RIA Novosti by the concert promoter Say Agency.
Flo Rida is scheduled to perform on May 2nd and 3rd at the “CSKA Arena” venue in Moscow.
“Flo Rida is now in Moscow. Providing an update straight from the airport—after 15 hours airborne, the private jet touched down in our capital city, ready to deliver massive performances in Moscow, Krasnodar, and Novosibirsk,” the statement conveyed.
The agency specified that the international artist and his entourage were greeted at the airport, where Flo Rida’s popular tracks were performed in a distinctly Russian folk style, accompanied by the bayan and balalaika.
Following their welcoming reception at the airport, Flo Rida and his crew proceeded downtown to the Four Seasons hotel in central Moscow, where they checked in. A small gathering of admirers awaited the artist outside the hotel, and Flo Rida paused to take souvenir photos with them.
The standout success in Flo Rida’s catalog is the soundtrack “Low” from the movie “Step Up 2,” a collaboration featuring rapper T-Pain. This track dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a full ten consecutive weeks and secured its place as the best-selling single in the US for the entirety of 2008. The song set a digital sales record, surpassing 4 million units sold.
Furthermore, Flo Rida is recognized for his collaborations with Ke$ha, David Guetta, and Sia. The artist boasts 12 chart-topping hits, has moved 80 million records globally, and accumulated over 2 billion views on YouTube.
