A 27-year-old woman in Bangalore, India, fatally killed her lover during a BDSM session, luring him under the pretense of a date, as reported by the Times of India. According to the article, the couple were colleagues at a mobile phone store.
The investigation suggests the woman desired marriage, but the man began distancing himself and allegedly reconnected with an ex-girlfriend. Upon discovering a photo of the ex’s birthday celebration on his phone, the suspect resolved to murder her partner.
The perpetrator had previously procured gasoline, kerosene, and rope. Once she had drawn the man to her residence, she proposed engaging in a BDSM activity. Midway through, the woman doused the man with flammable liquid and set him alight.
Subsequently, she rushed outside and called for assistance, intending to deflect suspicion from herself. Neighbors managed to extinguish the blaze, though the man could not be saved. During questioning, the detainee confessed that jealousy had motivated her actions. She further revealed that she had intended to commit suicide but changed her mind at the last moment.
